Did you know? Incubation

To incubate is to keep eggs warm.
Here you are going to see how emperor penguins do that.
Who goes fishing and who stays keeping the egg warm?

Birds incubate their eggs, and now you are going to see the process a chick follows:

Here it is the female incubating the eggs.

Inside of them chicks are slowly developing. They need 21 or 28 days.

This chick is hatching from the egg. That is a big effort!

But the natural way of incubation is not the only one.

Eggs can be incubated in an artificial way too!

                                    And that's all folks!

Did you know? Dolphins

We have learnt that  dolphins are mammals, so they are born live and they feed their babies with their mother's milk.
I have a question, do they breathe through gills or do they breathe with lungs?

Here you can see a baby dolphin inside its mother:

Now you can see the dolphin giving birth:

And here you can see the mother feeding its baby:

Can you see these two lines? They are the place where they have their milk.
They are not similar to human breasts!

Remember that the same happens to whales!
